Finnsusp is proud to announce the completion of Phase 1 of its factory project. In just 11 months since construction began, the premises have been inspected and approved by the municipal authorities. Designed and built to meet all regulatory requirements, the new factory will comply with GMP and Medical Device standards, marking a key milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy and global mission: bringing comfort and eye health to everyday life worldwide.

The secondary packing line and finished product warehouse are now fully commissioned and operational. The newly furnished offices are ready for use, welcoming all with a fresh and inspiring atmosphere. The R&D laboratory is in its final stages of completion and will soon provide the product development team with a state-of-the-art workspace.

“The transformation from our old premises is stunning. Throughout the design and construction process, special attention has been given not only to future expansion possibilities but also to employee wellbeing.” says Managing Director Riikka Järvinen.

The substantial investment project that is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund ERDF, will proceed in August with renovating the current cleanroom to prepare for the assembly of the new filling line during spring 2026. This new line will increase capacity significantly. The final phase, Phase 2, will involve assembling the cleanroom production area in the new factory at a later stage, with the schedule to be confirmed.

Dry eye products continue to be the major growth driver for Finnsusp. “Global demand continues to rise, and now, finally, having significantly increased capacity coming soon, we will be able to explore new market opportunities. Our growth target for the near future is very ambitious”, remarks Sales Director Markus Tenovuo.
