Founded Ltd in 1978, Finnsusp Ltd is a privately owned family owned business in the Medical Device industry. Finnsusp develops and manufactures contact lens care solutions, eye care products and individual Free-form spectacle lenses. Finnsusp Ltd also offers laboratory services and contract manufacturing to Medical Device manufacturers. All R&D and manufacturing take place in own factories in Finland.

During the past four decades, Finnsusp Ltd has been strongly focusing on developing eye care products and contact lens care products. Dry eye products and contact lens care solutions are Medical Devices, whose product development, manufacturing and sales is strictly controlled by international directives, laws and standards.

Starting point for our R & D is always innovations, product safety, eye friendliness and developing preservative-free products, when eye care is in question. Consequently, our products contain eye-friendly biological cleaning agent – as the only lens care products on the market – , furthermore, formulations of the products are innovative and unique.

The state-of-the are lens lab is dedicated to manufacturing individual FreeForm spectacle lenses. With the latest technology and international partners, Finnsusp’s RX lens range is versatile and offers solutions for specific requirements and needs. Examples of these are BlueStop® material for effective filtering of the blue light and progressive ProGolf® lens.

In addition to sales on the home market, Finnsusp’s products are exported – under the main brand “Piiloset” or as private label products – to over 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East, South America and North Africa.

B-to-B services for Medical Device manufacturers

Finnsusp’s services include also R&D, laboratory services, contract manufacturing as well as OEM and OBL manufacturing for especially Medical Device businesses. We produce Sterile A products by aseptic filling in ISO 5 class clean room and other liquids in an ISO 8 environment. Laboratory services are specialized to various microbiological methods and challenge tests. Our quality system meets the requirements of EN ISO 13485:2016 standard, MDSAP certificate for Canada and Brazil and bGMP approval from ANVISA.
